We’ve raised the bar on raising livestock responsibly, and we’re proud of the relationships we’ve developed with local farmers that make it possible. All of them meet our industry-leading standards for ethically raised, sustainably farmed, pasture grazed livestock that is always antibiotic and hormone-free.
Fleishers animals live on pasture, not concrete. They get fresh air, grass to eat, space to move around, and the ability to express natural behaviors. They always have access to barns or shelters if the weather turns nasty, but the barn doors are open if they want to go outside.
All our animals are humanely raised and slaughtered. We work with farmers who provide calm, stress-free lives and handle the animals with care. We work with slaughterhouses that are verified by Animal Welfare Approved. Our very own Fleishers agricultural staff routinely visits our farms to confirm that our animals are well treated.
