Seasonal Sausage 101: Pork
Let’s get creative and draw inspiration from the season’s best! In this class, you’ll learn to flavor, mix, stuff, and twist your own sausages by hand. We’ll also discuss how to use what’s on hand, like local vegetables, herbs, fruit, and cheeses in your sausage. The sausage flavor will rotate, but if you’re wondering what to expect, some sample seasonal recipes of ours include ramp pesto sausage, rhubarb chipotle sausage, and pumpkin spice sausage.
Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned home cook, you’ll take your skills to the next level. We’ll equip you with recipes, techniques, and ratios you need, and our expert butchers will give you key tips, like how to prevent your casings from exploding before the meat inside is cooked. You’ll also get to know our partners where our non-GMO, pasture-raised pork comes from.
